Datil pepper festival inspires spicy food creations

Covering the table before him was a spread of 15 different dishes with only one ingredient in common, St. Augustine’s own datil peppers. “The hottest is definitely Romano’s datil sandwich,” Jeffs said. “That one really set the tone.”
